Liability Insurance

Liability Insurance

You must have enough liability insurance to pay up to $20,000 in medical expenses for each person injured in a Florida speeding ticket, up to a combined total of $40,000 for everyone who was hurt in an accident. You also must have at least $15,000 in coverage to pay to repair or replace the other drivers car. Because of these coverage amounts, basic minimum liability coverage is often called “20/40/15 coverage.
